Due to its early construction,the Muzhailing Tunnel has inadequate measures for waterproofing,drainage,and freezing,resulting in severe damage to the lining and leakage of water.When the temperature is low,road icing often occurs,affecting traffic safety.According to the on-site investigation and disease detection results,the tunnel diseases will be classified and treated based on the principles of"combination of blockage and drainage,insulation and antifreeze,thorough rectification,and no future problems".The research on the disease treatment technology of Muzhailing Tunnel not only solves the technical problems during the construction process,but also provides valuable experience and reference for future tunnel construction under similar geological conditions.
