River chief production is an innovative water resources management and ecological protection mechanism,which plays a key role in promoting the long-term management of water conservancy projects.This study deeply discusses the connotation of long river system,highlighting the protection of water resources,improve the quality of water environment and promote the necessity of the sustainable development of water conservancy projects,by analyzing the long river system in promoting long-term management of specific measures,including perfecting the long river responsibility system,strengthen cross-sectoral cooperation,promote the enforcement of laws and regulations,strengthen public participation,and establish regular monitoring and evaluation mechanism,this study points out that the long river system not only helps to realize the effective management and protection of water resources,but also can promote the overall improvement of water ecological environment and the sustainable utilization of water resources.
