The smart grid is a fusion of multiple technologies such as power technology and computer technology.Strengthening the application of power engineering technology in the construction of the smart grid effectively meets the national"dual carbon"goal,is conducive to creating an efficient,integrated,and reliable smart grid,ensuring the flexibility of grid operation,promoting innovative development of the grid,and building a safe and efficient energy system.Based on this,this article takes the characteristics of smart grid operation as the starting point to explore the application of power engineering technology in the process of power grid construction.Based on the application of technology,optimization suggestions are proposed to promote power grid construction,ensure the automation operation mode of transmission,supervision and other links,and assist the operation of power grids in various regions.
