The collection of literature is not only a gathering place for public library knowledge and information,but also an important engine to promote social progress and development.There are various ways to build the collection of public libraries,including collection,donation,inter-library cooperation,and resource sharing.However,in the process of implementation,the construction of library collection is also facing many challenges due to various factors.Based on this,this paper conducts an in-depth study on the construction and development of future public library collections.By analyzing the current situation of the construction of library collections,a series of targeted strategies are proposed,aiming to further optimize the collection structure,improve the quality of services,and promote the prosperity and development of public libraries,so as to better meet the diversified needs of readers and promote the inheritance and innovation of social culture.
