Application of Cofferdam Technology in Hydraulic Design
Cofferdam is a widely used form of engineering in water conservancy engineering,covering many fields such as reservoirs,embankments and bridges.Its main function is to effectively control the water flow during construction,provide a relatively dry and safe working environment for construction personnel,and ensure the smooth development of various construction operations.The design and construction of cofferdam need to comprehensively consider various factors such as geological conditions,hydrological characteristics,construction environment and cost,and comprehensive analysis and optimization of cofferdam construction is the key to improve the construction effect of cofferdam.This paper discusses the types,key design elements and construction methods of cofferdam technology,aiming to provide strong support for the improvement of the construction quality of water conservancy projects.
