Top Pipe Construction Technology for Water Plant Expansion Project
Taking the expansion project of a water plant in a county as an example,this paper deeply analyzes the application of pipe jacking construction technology under complex geological and hydrological conditions.The article elaborates on the whole process of pipe jacking construction from trench pay-off,excavation to caisson embedded parts setting,wall casing and flange stuffy plate installation,jack configuration,pipeline directional measurement,tool pipe through wall and hole,water stop,jacking process and pipeline and pipe fitting installation.Particular emphasis was placed on the adaptability of the tool tube design to poor soil textures,as well as the importance of penetrating holes in walls and stopping water.The practice shows that the pipe jacking technology is not only suitable for a variety of soil conditions,but also can maintain the stability of the excavation face under the condition of large changes in groundwater,which provides a useful reference for similar projects.
