This paper discusses the related issues of oilfield geothermal energy development,elaborates on the importance and feasibility of developing oilfield geothermal energy.Through the analysis of the geological characteristics of the oilfield and the potential of geothermal energy,the concept of "oil-heat symbiosis" based on the new energy development and transformation of oilfield enterprises in the process of oilfield development is proposed,and three technical routes of "oil-heat co-production" are proposed,which have achieved good economic benefits and formed a demonstration scenario of oilfield geothermal energy development,which has extensive adaptability and promotion value for the realization of the technological development of "oilfield to thermal field".
