With the intensification of global climate change and the continuous growth of population,agriculture and its importance,as the basis for the survival and development of human society,has become increasingly prominent.In China,irrigation and water conservancy,as the core part of agricultural infrastructure,is of great significance for promoting the development of modern agricultural economy and ensuring national food security.From the perspective of irrigation and water conservancy,we will discuss the relationship with the development of modern agricultural economy,analyze the role of irrigation and water conservancy in promoting the process of agricultural modernization,and put forward corresponding suggestions,aiming to provide theoretical reference for the development of agricultural water conservancy work.
