Analysis on the Fault Detection and Debugging Method of a Radar Final Stage TWT
The final stage of the traveling wave tube is the core component of a radar II.band transmitter, and the circuit should be fully inspected when it needs to be replaced and debugged in the event of a failure.Especially in the complex case of multiple simultaneous alarms,it is necessary to ensure that the peripheral circuit is normal before replacing the new tube and powering up the debugging. This paper elaborates the maintenance steps of replacing the traveling wave tube when there are multiple simultaneous alarms in a radar II.band transmitter, analyzes the possible causes of the failure, and summarizes the precautions in the maintenance and debugging process.
