This paper discusses the key role of energy storage technology in energy structure optimization and its efficient application strategy.By analyzing the characteristics and applicability of energy storage technology in different scenarios in the power system,combined with the characteristics of pumped energy storage power stations suitable for large-scale and long-term energy storage needs,lithium batteries are more suitable for small,medium-scale,and short-term applications,and the specific application strategies of energy storage technology in all aspects of the power system are proposed.Energy storage technology not only effectively suppresses the volatility of renewable energy power generation,improves the stability and reliability of power supply,but also effectively reduces power loss and greatly improves the operation efficiency of the power system.The application of energy storage technology in the energy field has a positive and far-reaching impact,and its flexible application in different scenarios not only meets the diversified energy storage needs,but also promotes the sustainable development of energy.
