Epidemic and vaccine of avian infectious bronchitis virus in China
Avian infectious bronchitis virus(IBV)has been circulated in China for half a century.The disease of infectious bronchitis(IB)is one of the important diseases that severely affect the poultry industry and cause huge economic losses every year.In this review,we briefly introduced the history and characteristics of avian IBV,and the hazards caused by IBV to poultry.We also summarized the epidemics of IBV in China,the genotypes and corresponding characteristics of the virus,and the vaccines developed independently in China used for the prevention and control of IB.The epidemic history and current status of IBV in China will provide a reference for the control of IB.
