Endometrial organoids are three-dimensional aggregates formed by endometrial cells,which reproduce the structure and function of part of the endometrial.On this basis,endometrial assembloids integrate other cell types,such as stromal fibroblasts,endothelial cells,and immune cells,to better simulate the cell composition and function of the endometrial.Organoids and assembloids have overcome the complexity and ethical limitations of endometrium in vivo and become a new ideal research model.In this study,we reviewed the culture methods and applications of endometrial assembloids in embryo implantation,where its research progress and application prospects are discussed.
