高性能模数转换器(analog-to-digital converter,ADC)是电子信息系统的核心器件,是集成电路设计领域的研究热点与难点,是最复杂、难度最大的模拟集成电路。本文阐述了集成电路工艺演进给高性能模拟电路设计带来的共性挑战,并分别从纳米工艺下高速高精度、超高速低精度和高精度低延时等模数转换器系统架构与设计技术方面分析了高性能模数转换器面临的技术挑战与重要发展趋势。
Challenge and trend of high-performance analog-to-digital converters
The high-performance analog-to-digital converter(ADC)is the core device of electronic information systems and a demanding research hotspot in the field of integrated circuit(IC)design and the most complex and critical analog ICs.This paper elaborates on the common challenges brought by the evolution of IC technology in high-performance analog circuit design and analyzes those technical challenges and important development trends faced by high-performance ADCs from the perspectives of high-speed-high-precision,ultra-high-speed-low-precision,and high-precision-low-latency analog-to-digital converter system architecture and design technology under nanoscale technology.
