6G mobile information network architecture:migrate from communication to XaaS
The convergence of 5G with big data, cloud computing, and AI is enabling the digital transformation of thousands of industries and accelerating the entire society towards digitization and intelligence.Towards 2030,the vision of social development will be"digital twin and ubiquitous intelligence".More differentiated and fragmented business scenarios will pose new challenges to future networks. The network will expand from providing information transmission services to the whole-process services including information sensing, transmission, storage, processing, and utilization, realizing a major transformation from traditional communication networks to mobile information networks. In order to efficiently realize this transformation, the 6G network will integrate technologies such as communication, sensing, big data, computing,AI,and security. And the 6G network will realize the goals of soft,on-demand services, lite, native AI,digital twin, and native security. It brings about the paradigm shift of"on-demand service"and"everything as a service".Taking into account the new application requirements in 2030,new technology trends, and the issues faced by 5G networks, this paper analyzes the three driving forces for the development of 6G mobile information networks, puts forward the overall design ideas of 6G network architecture, and designs the"three-layer and six-plane"6G network logical function architecture and deployment architecture. The 6G network will build the all-in-one platform that provides new capabilities such as communication, sensing, computing,AI,big data, and security. It will support the on-demand services for all industries, scenarios, and ecosystems and effectively solve the problems faced by 5G networks, such as high cost, high consumption, and complicated operation and maintenance. And the 6G network will fully empower the realization of the social vision of"digital twin and ubiquitous intelligence".
