Efficacy and safety of paclitaxel albumin assisted platinum chemo-therapy in the treatment of recurrent and metastatic cervical cancer based on tumor factors and inflammatory status
AIM:To investigate the efficacy and safety of paclitaxel albumin assisted platinum che-motherapy in the treatment of recurrent and meta-static cervical cancer based on tumor factors and in-flammatory status.METHODS:A total of 100 pa-tients with recurrent and metastatic cervical cancer in our hospital from January 2020 to January 2023 were randomly divided into two groups:50 pa-tients in the control group were treated with pacli-taxel-assisted nedaplatin regimen, and 50 patients in the study group were treated with paclitaxel-as-sisted nedaplatin regimen. The short-term efficacy, tumor factors, inflammatory factors,relapse-metas-tasis related indexes, quality of life, functional sta-tus and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.RESULTS:The total remission rate of the study group(72.00%)was higher than that of the control group(48.00%)(P<0.05).In the study group, after one and three cycles of treatment,se-rum cytokeratin 19 fragment antigen 21-1(CY-FRA21-1),carbohydrate antigen 724(CA724),squa-mous cell carcinoma antigen(SCC Ag),interleukin-4(IL-4),interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)The levels of serum microrna-367(mir-367),microrna-383(mir-383),quality of life(QOL)and Karnofsky functional status score(KPS)in the tu-mor patients were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05);There was no signifi-cant difference in the incidence of nausea/vomit-ing,diarrhea,fatigue,leukopenia and allergic reac-tions between the study group and the control group during treatment(P>0.05),but the total inci-dence of adverse reactions(12.00%)was lower than that of the control group(32.00%)(P<0.05).CONCLUSION:Paclitaxel albumin-assisted nedaplat-in has a reliable effect in the treatment of recurrent and metastatic cervical cancer, which can further reduce the level of tumor factors, relieve inflamma-tion,and has high safety.
