Objective:To investigate the application value of fourteen-zone lung ultrasound scoring method in the diagno-sis of neonatal pneumonia.Methods:Lung ultrasound and chest X-ray examination were performed in 95 neonates suspected neonatal pneumonia to compare the diagnostic value of the two examinations.According to the clinical diagnostic criteria of severe pneumonia,84 neonates with confirmed diagnosis of pneumonia were divided into severe group and non-severe group.Twelve-zone and fourteen-zone lung ultrasound scoring method were performed,and the diagnostic efficiency of the two scor-ing methods was analyzed by ROC.Results:The sensitivity and accuracy of lung ultrasound diagnosis of neonatal pneumonia were 94.05%and 92.63%,which were higher than 82.14%and 80.00%of chest X-ray.There were statistical differences be-tween the two examinations(P<0.05).The areas under the curve of the twelve-zone and the fourteen-zone lung ultrasound scoring method were 0.834 and 0.894,respectively.Conclusion:Lung ultrasound examination is of high value in the diagnosis of neonatal pneumonia.The fourteen-zone lung ultrasound scoring method is better than the twelve-zone in the diagnosis of neonatal pneumonia,and can provide guiding value for clinical diagnosis.
