Study on treatment of organic saline by adsorption method
The removal effect of 1,1,2-trichloroethane in organic saline by adsorption method was studied. The results showed that among various adsorbents, the SHY-5077-type resin had a strong adsorption capac-ity for 1,1,2-trichloroethane,and would not pollute the saline due to pulverization. At room temperature and atmospheric pressure, the equilibrium adsorption capacity of the resin for 1,1,2-trichloroethane reached 50~85 mg/g resin.During dynamic adsorption, when the initial TOC(total organic carbon)of or-ganic saline was 314.4 mg/L,the height of resin bed was 15 cm,and the organic saline passed through the resin bed at the flow rate of 1.5 BV/h,the TOC of the effluent exceeded the ionic membrane limit of 5 mg/L after 5 h.When the height of the resin bed was lowered or the flow rate of the organic saline was increased, the TOC of the effluent would rise at a faster rate.Reducing the initial TOC of organic saline will signifi-cantly delay the process of resin reaching adsorption saturation. When the initial TOC of organic saline was 100 mg/L,the height of resin bed was 15 cm,and the organic saline passed through the resin bed at the flow rate of 1.5 BV/h,after 12 h the TOC of the effluent reached 4.85 mg/L,which still did not exceed 5 mg/L.
