This paper mainly introduces the working principles of the fourth-generation electrolyzer and unit cells,the methods of zero-gap,the cell voltage performance of different transformation methods in differ-ent stages,the comparison of cell voltage between the unit cell after zero-gap transformation and the unit cell in the same frame,and the comparison of operating voltage under the same load between the zero-gap unit cell and the recoated unit cell.It objectively summarizes the zero-gap transformation of the fourthgen-eration electrolyzer.
