Correlation analysis of serum bilirubin, thyroid function and ankle-brachial index of the elderly
Objective To analyze the correlation between serum bilirubin, thyroid function and ABI in the elderly. Methods A total of 198 elderly patients were elected.According to the ABI value,ABl<1.0(with PAD)was classified as the decreased ABI group, and 1.0<ABI≤1.4(without PAD)was classified as the normal ABI group. The clinical data and laboratory indexes of the two groups were compared, and the influencing factors of ABI were analyzed by multivariate Logistic disease regression analysis. Results There were statistically significant difference in CRP,LDL,HDL,HCY,TBIL,DBIL,IBIL,TSH and FT3 level between the two groups(P<0.05).There were nostatistically significant difference in gender,age,BMI,FT4 and abdomen circumference(P>0.05).Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that ABI was significantly affected by CRP,TBIL,DBIL,IBIL,TSH and FT3 lev-el.Conclusion Serum bilirubin level and thyroid function in elderly population are related to ABI value, which are the influencing factors of peripheral vascular.
