The complications related to cancer and its treatment have seriously affected the treatment and quality of life of pa-tients.As a new type of auricular acupuncture therapy developed from traditional acupuncture therapy,auricular needle-embedding therapy has been widely used in the clinical treatment of various diseases,and reflects its unique advantages in traditional Chinese medicine.This article summarizes the mechanism of action of auricular needle-embedding therapy in the treatment of common cancer-related complications such as gastrointestinal adverse reactions,cancer pain,psychiatric symptoms and cancer-related fatigue,intro-duces the current status of traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment of various cancer-related complications,as well as the traditional Chinese medicine understanding of disease names,etiology and pathogenesis,TCM treatment rules and common auricular acupoints,and focuses on analyzing and summarizing the clinical application status of auricular needle-embedding in the treatment of these common cancer-related complications,simplicity and patient compliance.Therefore,this article suggests that auricular needle-embedding therapy is an effective measure that can improve cancer-related complications and improve the quality of life of patients,and it is worthy of further promotion and use in the clinical treatment of cancer-related complications.
