Objective To investigate the status quo of inpatient satisfaction in a grade-A tertiary hospital in Yunnan Province,explore the factors affecting inpatient satisfaction,and provide reference for formulating strategies to improve inpatient satisfaction.Methods 24 inpatients and family members from a grade-A hospital in Yunnan Province were selected by objective sampling meth-od for semi-structured interviews,and the data were analyzed by content analysis method.Results Six themes were summarized,namely,service attitude,technical level,service timeliness,health education,logistics support and humanistic care.Conclusion Inpatients'satisfaction is affected by many factors.Continuous improvement of nursing staff's service attitude and technical level,shortening patients'waiting time for medical treatment,deepening the connotation of quality nursing service,strengthening logistics service management,practicing caring communication and implementing multicultural nursing are conducive to improving inpatients'satisfaction.
