Correlation between serum FIB,SAA and diabetes retinopathy in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes
Objective To study the correlation between serum FIB and SAA and diabetes retinopathy in elderly patients with type 2 diabete. Methods Prospective analysis of 95 patients with type 2 diabetes who visited the endocrinology department of our hospital from January 2020 to June 2023 as research subjects, according to whether they had retinal lesions, they were divided into the control group and the lesion group, and the general data of the two groups of research subjects, conventional laboratory biochemical indicators FIB,SAA,and the correlation between the above indicators and retinal lesions was analyzed. Results Compared with the control group, the expression levels of SBP,DBP,FPG,FINS,2hPG,2hINS,HbA1c,TG,TC,HDL-C,LDL-C and CRP in the diseased group were higher,of which the differences in HbA1c and LDL-C were statistically significant(P<0.05).The serum of the diseased group had high levels of FIB and SAA(P<0.05).The results of multi-factor Logical regression analysis showed that the serum HbAlc,LDL-C,FIB and SAA were independent influencing factors for patients with combined retinitis pigmentosa;correlation analy-sis shows that serum HbA1c,LDL-C,FIB and SAA were positively correlated with the occurrence of retinitis pigmentosa in T2DM(correlation coefficient rp>0.7,P<0.05).Conclusion Serum HbA1c,LDL-C,FIB and SAA were positively correlated with reti-nal disease in elderly patients with diabetes and risk factors for retinal disease.
