Research progress in dynamic neuromuscular stabilization technology on posture control in elder adults
Correct posture control is the foundation for individuals to successfully complete various daily movements,and it is a manifestation of the interaction between body movement,sensation,and cognitive functional systems.Aging can lead to decreased physiological function in the human body and an increased probability of developing chronic diseases,which can lead to posture con-trol disorders in elderly people.This article reviews the basic theory of Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization(DNS)technology and the research results on its impact on posture control in the elderly,providing new ideas and guidance for therapists to improve elderly posture control ability.DNS technology is a targeted intervention method to enhance the human neuromuscular control abili-ty.Compared to traditional therapies,DNS technology emphasizes the simultaneous training of the nervous system and musculoskeletal system,which is very suitable for improving the posture control ability of the elderly population.However,the current promotion of this technology in China is relatively low and has not been widely applied.
