Research progress on the application effect of vibration expectoration apparatus in patients with chronic obstructive pulmo-nary disease
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)is a serious respiratory disease whose main symptoms include difficulty breathing and sputum retention.Traditional methods of sputum elimination include medication and physical therapy,but their effec-tiveness is limited.Vibration expectorators can not only effectively help patients eliminate sputum through vibration,reduce breathing difficulties,and thus improve respiratory function.It can also reduce sputum retention,reduce the risk of respiratory infections and the frequency of acute exacerbations to improve the quality of life of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.The purpose of this paper is to review the research progress of the application effect of the vibration expectorator on patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,from the working principle and technical characteristics of the vibration expectorator,the importance of sputum re-moval,the clinical application of the vibration expectorator,and the optimization and improvement of the vibration expectorator.It was found that while the vibration expectorator has shown great potential in improving patients'quality of life and reducing disease symp-toms,many challenges remain,and further research is needed to identify the best application methods and address related issues to ensure its effectiveness and sustainability in clinical practice.
