Investigation of nursing dependence and analysis of influencing factors in the transitional period of elderly patients with brittle fracture of hip
Objective To investigate the transitional care dependence and its influencing factors in elderly patients with hip fra-gility fracture after operation, and to provide reference for clinical intervention. Methods A total of 168 elderly patients with hip brittle fracture who underwent surgical treatment in our hospital from August 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the research ob-jects.The general data questionnaire, nursing dependence scale, simple cognitive state scale, and simple mini nutritional assessment state scale were used to investigate them.Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of nursing dependence in the transitional period after discharge of elderly patients with hip brittle fracture. Results The total score of transitional care de-pendence in elderly patients with hip fragile fracture after discharge was(47.82±6.33)points,which was at a moderate level of de-pendence.Among them,10 cases(5.95%)were almost independent,82 cases(48.81%)were mostly independent,54 cases(32.14%)were partially dependent,22 cases(13.10%)were mostly dependent, and none was completely dependent. The results of multi-ple linear regression showed that education level, family per capita monthly income, cognitive function, nutritional status and depres-sion were the influencing factors of nursing dependence during the transitional period of discharge after hip fracture surgery in the elderly(P<0.05).Conclusion Elderly patients with hip fragility fracture are at a moderate level of nursing dependence during the transitional period after discharge, which is related to education level, family per capita monthly income, cognitive function, nutritional status and depression.Medical staff should pay attention to their nursing dependence and formulate targeted intervention strategies ac-cording to the influencing factors.
