Effects of exergames on sustained attention function in stroke patients
Objective To investigate the effects of exergames on sustained attention function in stroke patients. Methods From August 2020 to August 2022,48 stroke patients who were hospitalized for rehabilitation in Beijing Boai Hospital were selected.48 pa-tients were randomly divided into the experimental group(24 cases)and the control group(24 cases). The control group received up-per limb functional motor training, and the experimental group received exergames. The intervention lasted for 4 weeks.CPT and MBI were evaluated before and after treatment. Results There was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, the CPT accuracy rate, hit rate, average reaction time and MBI improved in both groups(P<0.05),and the CPT hit rate and average reaction time of the experimental group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the CPT accuracy rate and MBI after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion Exergames can effectively improve sustained attention function in stroke patients.
