Clinical observation of tibial transverse transport technique combined with addition and subtraction of taohong siwu decoc-tion in treating qi deficiency and blood stasis type diabetic foot
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of lateral tibial bone displacement combined with modified Taohong Siwu Decoction in the treatment of diabetic foot. Methods Forty-four patients with diabetic foot were divided into the control group and the study group, with 22 cases in each group. The control group underwent lateral tibial bone displacement surgery, while the study group received modified Taohong Siwu Decoction in addition to the surgery. After 8 weeks of treatment, the traditional Chinese medi-cine syndrome scores, skin temperature of the affected foot,ankle-brachial index(ABI),foot dorsal artery hemodynamic parameters, and changes in clinical efficacy were observed and compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the traditional Chi-nese medicine syndrome scores, skin temperature of the affected foot,ABI,vascular diameter, and blood flow velocity were significant-ly increased in both groups compared with before treatment(P<0.05).Moreover,the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores,Visual Analog Scale(VAS),vascular diameter, and blood flow velocity in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),while there was no statistically significant difference in skin temperature and ABI between the two groups(P>0.05).The total effective rate of clinical efficacy in the study group was 90.91%,which was significantly higher than that in the control group(72.73%)(P<0.05).Conclusion Combined treatment with modified Taohong Siwu Decoction and lateral tibial bone displacement can improve the clinical efficacy of diabetic foot.
