Rickettsial disease is an infectious disease caused by Rickettsial infection with fever, crust and rash as the main clini-cal manifestations, and less often secondary to neurological infections. In this report,we consider the diagnosis of rickettsial infection as a patient with fever with headache and crust as the first symptom, with a positive fiducial test and effective doxycycline treatment, and presenting with a patient with rickettsial infection combined with meningitis through the course of the patient's medical history.By analyzing the patient's history and disease duration, admission tests and clinical characteristics and combining them with literature re-view to explore the characteristics of rickettsial infections,to improve clinicians'understanding of the hazards of rickettsial infections,to study the clinical manifestations and diagnostic characteristics of rickettsial infections combined with viral meningitis,to formulate a personalized treatment plan, and to effectively help patients recover their health. At the same time,we will improve the diagnostic level and enhance the diagnostic awareness for patients with unexplained fever accompanied by headache and crusting,so as to avoid clinical omission and misdiagnosis.
