Application of information technology combined with improved health education in improving the cleanliness and tolerance of intestinal preparation before colonoscopy in patients
Objective To study the role of informatization and improved health education in improving the cleanliness and toler-ance of intestinal preparation before colonoscopy in patients.Methods Prospective selection of 161 patients who underwent colonos-copy in the gastroenterology department of our hospital from August 2022 to August 2023 as research subjects,according to the ran-dom number table method,they were divided into the control group and the observation group.The control group received general health education for intestinal preparation before colonoscopy,and the observation group received information-based joint improved health education for intestinal preparation before colonoscopy.The two groups of research subjects were collected for intestinal prepa-ration cleanliness and tolerance test indicators,and analyzed the effectiveness of information-based joint improved health education in improving the cleanliness and tolerance of intestinal preparation before colonoscopy in patients.Results Compared with the control group,the observation group had a high proportion of colon preparation scores,and the time to enter the mirror was(4.76±2.45)min and the time to exit the mirror was(8.26±2.19)min,these were lower than those of the control group[(5.53±1.77)min、(9.97±2.26)min].The detection rate of polyps in the observation group was 56.25％,and the number of polyps detected was 92,which was higher than those of the control group.The proportion of subjects in the observation group who evaluated the poor taste of the drug,abdominal discomfort during bowel cleansing,nausea or vomiting was lower than that of the control group.The total satisfac-tion score of colonoscopy of the observation group was higher than that of the control group.The differences in the above indicators were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Information technology combined with improved health education has advanta-ges for intestinal preparation before colonoscopy,which is conducive to improving intestinal cleanliness and better patient tolerance and satisfaction.
