Clinical study of tongue acupuncture combined with hydrogel direct feeding training for dysphagia in patients after stroke
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of tongue acupuncture combined with hydrogel direct feeding training to improve swallowing function in patients with dysphagia after stroke. Methods A total of 80 swallowing function patients with dys-phagia after stroke were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group. The control group was treaded with con-ventional rehabilitation and hydrogel direct feeding training. In the observation group,on the base of the treatment as the control group, tongue acuncture was added, the heart point, kidney point, spleen point,Jinjin(EX-HN12),Yuye(EX-HN13),etc.,on the tongue surface. The above treatment of the two groups was given once a day,and after 5 days of continuous treatment, rest for 2 days, the treatment lasted for 4 weeks. The two groups were compared before and after treatment, the results of Caiteng's rating method, standardized swallowing assessment(SSA),the penetration-aspiration Rosenbek scores. Results After treatment,Caiteng's rating method was increased(P<0.05),SSA and the penetration-aspiration Rosenbek scores were reduced(P<0.05),and the changes in the observation group were larger than those in the control group(P<0.05),the swallowing function of the patient was significantly improved, the incidence of aspiration decreased, the observation group was better than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Tongue acupuncture combined with hydrogel direct feeding training to can improve swallowing function in patients with dysphagia af-ter stroke.
