Research progress of TCM nursing technique in prevention and treatment of postoperative constipation in elderly orthope-dic patients
Due to the increasing proportion of the elderly population,the number of fracture patients due to osteoporosis,acciden-tal falls,etc.,has also skyrocketed.After fracture,surgery is the main method of treatment,but due to postoperative bed rest,activity disorders,diet changes and other factors,often lead to constipation in orthopaedic patients.There are records and descriptions of con-stipation in the ancient books of Chinese medicine in the past dynasties,and there are in-depth studies on its disease name,classifica-tion and treatment methods,among which the nursing technology of Chinese medicine has achieved good clinical results.This paper mainly summarizes and concludes the relevant research on the prevention and treatment of postoperative constipation in elderly ortho-pedic patients by Chinese scholars in recent years.The contents include the disease name inheritance,etiological mechanism,risk fac-tors of postoperative constipation in elderly orthopedic patients and intervention methods of traditional Chinese medicine nursing tech-nology,among which the intervention methods of traditional Chinese medicine nursing technology mainly introduce acupuncture thera-py,ear point pressure bean,acupressure,acupoint application and combined therapy.The purpose is to provide reference for the de-velopment of related research in the future.
