Elderly patients with advanced cancer often face complex medical decision-making.In the continuous decision-making process,there will be decision-making fatigue performance due to the influence of age,health status,cognitive function and other fac-tors,lead to a timely failure to make the right decision,missed the opportunity for treatment.This paper briefly introduces the defini-tion and clinical characteristics of decision fatigue,the assessment tools,influencing factors and clinical interventions of decision fa-tigue,and the recent research progress.It is found that the mechanism and influencing factors of decision-making fatigue in elderly patients with advanced cancer needs to be further explored in addition,popular science education on diseases should be widely car-ried out to improve patients'awareness,and future research should also strengthen the multi-center cross-sectional survey to clarify the intervention measures on decision-making fatigue of patients with advanced cancer,to provide more effective guidance for clinical nursing work.
