Chronic alcoholic encephalopathy is a kind of brain damage caused by chronic alcoholism caused by long-term alcohol drinking.It is a kind of chronic and recurrent brain disease.This paper reports the diagnosis and treatment of a typical case of alco-holic encephalopathy in our hospital.The basic data,clinical features,imaging features and the course of diagnosis and treatment of this case were analyzed retrospectively,to provide a reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment.This study suggests that it is nec-essary for the clinician to enhance the cognition of alcoholism,to improve the ability of identifying severe chronic alcoholic encepha-lopathy,to pay attention to the education of the harm of drinking to the public,and to advocate a healthy life style.We should pay more attention to the research on the measures of preventing chronic alcoholic encephalopathy,especially to the long-term alcoholics,we should give up alcohol as soon as possible,reduce the damage of alcohol,improve the quality of life and prevent the occurrence of chronic alcoholic encephalopathy.
