Since entering the digital era,China has accelerated breakthroughs in new technological fields represented by AI and big data,providing new technical means for the governance of sudden event network public opinion and promoting the intelligent transformation of the governance of sudden event network public opinion.Through the logic of the transformation of sudden event network public opinion governance empowered by digital technology,this study analyzes the evolutionary mechanism and practical dilemmas of the transformation of sudden event network public opinion governance empowered by digital technology.It proposes optimization strategies for the intelligent transformation of sudden event network public opinion governance empowered by digital technology from five aspects:enhancing subject awareness,establishing a new pattern of openness and sharing,establishing a comprehensive and multi-level governance system,improving laws on public opinion governance,and strengthening the construction of talents in digital governance of network public opinion.These strategies aim to provide reference for the government to overcome the dilemmas in digital governance of sudden event network public opinion.The study finds that the government's use of digital technology to assist in the intelligent transformation of the governance of sudden event network public opinion is an effective path to promote the construction of online civilization,enhance government credibility,and advance the modernization of government governance capabilities.
