Application of mindfulness based decompression therapy combined with psychological nursing in the rehabilitation treatment of chronic cervical spondylosis among land-based pilots
Objective To explore the application effect of mindfulness based decompression therapy combined with psychological nursing on the rehabilitation treatment of chronic cervical spondylosis among land-based pilots. Methods From January 2023 to March 2024,114 patients with chronic cervical spondylosis in land-based pilots from a joint logistics support unit hospital were selected as the research subjects. The patients were randomly divided into a control group(57 cases:conventional nursing) and an intervention group(57 cases:mindfulness based decompression therapy combined with psychological nursing) using a random number table. The scores of the pain digital rating scale, anxiety self-assessment scale, and cervical dysfunction index scale before and after intervention were compared between the two groups of patients to observe the effectiveness of cervical spondylosis rehabilitation treatment. Results The pain digital rating scale scores of the intervention group patients after the 4th and 8th interventions were (1.15±0.78)points and (0.90±0.27)points,respectively,which were better than those of the control group (2.89±0.82)points and (2.27±0.67)points;The scores of the self-rating anxiety scale were (39.53±9.67) and (34.18±7.38),respectively,which were better than the control group (55.69±10.23) and (51.73±8.65)scores;The scores of the cervical dysfunction index scale were (6.39±1.75)points and (4.79±1.67)points,respectively,which were better than the control group (9.10±1.89)points and (7.70±1.48)points.The scores were significantly lower than before intervention, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).With time going on,the treatment effect gradually improved, and the intervention group was better than the control group. Conclusion The adoption of mindfulness based decompression therapy combined with psychological nursing for patients with chronic cervical spondylosis in land-based pilots can alleviate their pain, improve their psychological adaptation and emotional management abilities, improve cervical spine function, and have better rehabilitation treatment effects than conventional care.
