Research progress of Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension
Chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension(CTEPH) is a relatively rare pulmonary disease.Early symptoms and signs are atypical. As the disease progresses, patients may experience a series of typical symptoms, such as dyspnea and chest pain after physical activity, which reflect the increased cardiac load and impeded blood circulation. The diagnosis and treatment of chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) mainly focuses on balancing the body's yin and yang, regulating qi and blood, and improving the physical constitution to achieve the purpose of treating and preventing diseases.TCM approaches include conditioning, acupoints, massage, and moxibustion. They solve problems caused by embolism and hypertension by promoting blood circulation, regulating the immune system, and alleviating inflammatory reactions.Integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment can accurately formulate treatment plans based on the individual differences and condition characteristics of different patients to maximize the treatment effect.Integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment can not only give full play to the rapid and obvious effects of traditional Western medicine, but also make full use of the advantages of TCM in regulating the body's constitution and preventing recurrence, comprehensively improving the quality of life and prognosis. This paper provided a comprehensive analysis of the treatment of chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension by both the TCM and Western medicine in recent years, offering references and insights for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
