Deep Hydrogeological Characteristics of Laochang Mine,Lancang Lead Mine,Yunnan Province,China
Laochang mining area of Yunnan Lancang Lead Mine is located about 30 km to the northwest of Lancang County,Yunnan Province. The main deep orebodies are located below the local erosion base level, belonging to Nanlang River system in Lancang River Basin. In order to solve the problem of actual water damage in mine production, hydrogeological characteristics of mining areas are studied and analyzed through various technical means such as hydrogeological mapping, tunnel(borehole)cataloguing, hydrogeological drilling, pumping test, geophysical testing,long-term dynamic monitoring of hydrological points, numerical simulation and so on.The comparison method is used to predict the water inflow in the 1 480 m middle section and the deep planning and design mining middle section in the future. The results show that the mine is located in the recharge area of Laochang Yunshan groundwater system. The hydrogeological type of the deposit belongs to the medium to complex type dominated by karst aquifer. The north-south faults F1,F3 and F11 in the mining area have good water permeability and strong water conductivity, forming the main recharge channels for deep groundwater in the mining area. The future water inflow is predicted by analogy method. The normal water inflow at 1 000~1 480 m deep in Laochang mining area is 6 027~18 826 m3/d,and the maximum water inflow is 1 1 769~36 757 m3/d.Through the development of various technical means and comprehensive research, the deep hydrogeological characteristics of Laochang mining area are identified, which provides effective design basis for the water prevention and control measures in the deep mine production.
