An Application of Three-component Magnetic Measurement Interpretation in Borehole in Tungsten-Molybdenum Polymetallic Ore
Based on a drilling hole in Yangsimiao-Laobandeng Molybdenum Tungsten Mine in Ningshan Country of Shaanxi Province, the orientation and spatial position of the magnetic body were determined in using three component magnetic measurements in the well.By analyzing the magnetic field distribution characteristics of spherical and thick plate-like bodies, the relationship between the magnetic field distribution characteristics and the orientation and magnetization direction of the magnetic body was summarized. The results show that when the borehole is located in the north, northeast and northwest of the ore body, the vertical magnetic anomaly ΔZ curve will present an S-shape with up negative and down positive and the horizontal mode difference ΔH'curve will present an S-shape with up positive and down negative. When the borehole is located in the south, southeast and southwest of the ore body, the vertical magnetic anomaly ΔZ curve will present an inverse S-shape with positive upward and negative downward, and the horizontal mode difference ΔH'curve will present an S-shape with negative upward and positive downward. When the borehole is located on the east and west sides of the orebody, the vertical magnetic anomaly ΔZ curve will present a double S-shape,and the horizontal mode difference ΔH'curve will present a C-shape.When the borehole is on the north side of the orebody, the positive direction of ΔT⊥convergence vector is on the south side, indicating that the ore head is on the south side of the borehole. When the borehole is on the south side of the orebody, the positive direction of ΔT⊥ convergence vector is on the north side of the borehole. This method had a good application effect.
