A New Discovery of Mineral Resources for Lithium Iron Phosphate Manganese Cathode Material—Supply and Base for Analysis Project-Related Minerals in Western Xinjiang and Surrounding Areas
Energy transformation is crucial for achieving the goal of carbon neutrality, and new energy vehicles play an important role in this process.Lithium iron phosphate manganese,as a cathode material for new energy vehicles'power batteries, has attracted widespread attention due to its excellent safety performance and high energy density. In an in-depth analysis,it has been found that Kizilsu Kirghiz Autonomous Prefecture in Xinjiang is rich in manganese, lithium, phosphorus and iron resources, which can provide a stable supply of raw materials for the production of lithium iron phosphate manganese.Meanwhile, the Bishkek Free Economic Zone in Kyrgyzstan offers preferential policies to foreign investors, making it an ideal location for the construction of a precursor ferrous phosphate factory. After comprehensive comparison, the selection of the site for the lithium iron phosphate manganese full battery production base can be divided into two schemes:Scheme 1 is the Wujia Industrial Park in Kizilsu Kirghiz Autonomous Prefecture in Xinjiang of China.Scheme 2 is the Bishkek Free Economic Zone in Kyrgyzstan.
