A Study on the Effect of Mixed Metal Oxide Doping on the Properties of Lithium Manganates
Low sodium potassium manganese dioxide and lithium carbonate were used as raw materials.Different amounts of nano aluminum oxide and titanium dioxide were used as additives to prepare battery cathode material lithium manganese oxide by high-temperature solid-phase method. The effect of mixed metal oxide addition on the physical and electrical properties of lithium manganese oxide was studied. It characterizes material properties through particle size distribution, including the compacted density, microstructure, capacity and capacity decay. The results show that the lithium manganese oxide material is synthesized under the conditions of 0.3%nano aluminum oxide doping and 0.5%titanium dioxide doping had a 0.5 C capacity of 98.2 mAh/g and a 1.0 C capacity of 97.9 mAh/g with a capacity retention rate of 98.37%after 50 high-temperature cycles. This product has excellent high-temperature cycling performance and it is of certain reference significance for the production of lithium manganese oxide.
