Geological Characteristics and Ore-controlling Factors of Dayukouzi Cu-Au Deposit in Beishan Rift Valley
Cu-Au mining area is located in the early Palaeozoic Silurian magmatic arc belt of Yaodong Nuru-Gongpoquan in the northeastern margin of Tarim plate. In the middle and late Hualixi region, the magmatic hydrothermal intrusion along the weak structural areas carried a large amount of Cu,Pb,Zn,Ag and Mo elements, and the local enrichment formed volcanic hydrothermal copper mineralization.Through the exploration,it is found that the structure of the western section of the mine is complicated, the ore grade is unstable, the various co-efficients change greatly, the deposit type is similar to that of Gongpoquan copper deposit, and the prospecting prospect is better. The ore body in the east section of the mining area is small in scale, with single ore body and simple structure. The ore is mainly of hydrothermal(quartz vein)type and the ore grade is extremely unstable. This paper analyzes the geological characteristics and ore-controlling factors of Dayukouzi copper and gold deposit, and it summarizes the prospecting criteria in providing a basis for the exploration of the same type of deposits.
