Study on the Engineering Application of New Pressure Filtration Washing Equipment in the Electrolytic Manganese Liquation Process
The new type of pressure filtration washing equipment is equipped with functions such as solid-liquid separation,desludging,aeration,and cake blowing for dehydration,as well as intelligent control over washing water usage.It can be utilized for the recovery of soluble manganese and ammonium sulfate from manganese slag in the electrolytic manganese lixiviation process.An engineering application study was conducted on the washing and recovery of electrolytic manganese slag using this new type of equipment.The results indicated that the total time for a single wash was 72 minutes.The soluble manganese content in the manganese slag before washing was 2.29%,and after washing,it was reduced to 1.42% .Following a single wash,the soluble manganese content in the manganese slag decreased by 0.87%,with a soluble manganese washing recovery rate of 37.85%,and the ammonium sulfate recovery rate in the manganese slag was 55.96% .The total time for two countercurrent washes was 97 minutes.The soluble manganese content in the manganese slag before washing was 1.97%,and after washing,it was 0.85% .After two countercurrent washes,the soluble Mn content in the manganese slag decreased by 1.12%,the recovery rate of soluble manganese washing was 57.89%,and the recovery rate of ammonium sulfate in the manganese slag was 78.64%,demonstrating a significant washing recovery effect.Utilizing the new pressure filtration equipment for washing and recovering manganese and ammonium sulfate from manganese slag,with washing at 30% of the manganese slag's weight,the value of the recovered solution from the manganese slag per ton of electrolytic manganese metal produced reaches 443.49 yuan,offering certain economic benefits.
