Comparison of the Efficacy of Micrograft Anchorage and J-hook Anchorage in Systematic Correction of Patients with Bimaxillary Protrusion
Objective To compare the efficacy of micro-implant anchorage and J hook anchorage in the systemic correction of bimaxillary protrusion. Methods Eighty patients with bimaxillary protrusion admitted to our hospital from May 2019 to May 2021 were selected and divided into a study group(40 cases)and a control group(40 cases). The control group was treated with J hook anchorage, and the study group was treated with micro-implant anchorage.Record the clinical efficacy, treatment time, cephalometric measurements and the incidence of complications of the two groups. Results After treatment, the effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the treatment time was shorter than that of the control group. The face convex angle(G-Sn-Pg')and nasolabial angle(Cm-Sn-UL)of the study group were larger than those of the control group. The distance between the lower lip E lines(Li-E),the intersection angle between the long axis of the upper central incisor and the NA line(U1-NA),the intersection angle between the long axis of the upper central incisor and the anterior skull base plane(U1-SN),the angle between the lower central incisor and the mandibular plane(IMPA),the intersection angle between the long axis of the lower central incisor and the NA line(L1-NB)were lower than those of the control group(all P<0.05).There was no significant difference in complication rate between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Compared with J-hook anchorage,micro-implant anchorage can improve the therapeutic effect, shorten the treatment time and improve the facial condition in the systematic correction treatment of patients with bimaxillary protrusion, which is safe and reliable.
