Objective To design a foundation for sensitive skin and to assess its safety and makeup effect.Methods The study was carried out on a total of 81 volunteers with sensitive skin.They accomplished the clinical trial and consumer test according to the study requirements.The tolerance and using effect were analyzed through non-invasive instrumental testing,doctor's assessment and self-assessment.Results The results showed that there were no adverse reactions during the whole study and test product had significant better performance for no desquamation,no pruritus,no tightness,no burden and no dryness compared to the foundation subjects used in daily life.In this study,100%of the subjects confirmed that test product was just the one designed for sensitive skin as expected.The significant influencing factors of the purchasing intention were fitness,user-friendly packaging and no burden.Conclusion The foundation is safe and acceptable for usage of sensitive skin.
