Application of CDU in Repairing Foot and Peri-ankle Refractory Wounds with Perforator Flaps from the Lower Leg
Objective The aim of this study was to observe the application effect of color Doppler ultrasound(CDU)in repairing foot and peri-ankle refractory wounds with perforator flaps from the lower leg. Methods This study included 60 patients with foot and peri-ankle refractory wounds who underwent CDU-guided repair with perforator flaps from the lower leg in the author's hospital from January 2016 to November 2021.Surgical conditions, clinical efficacy, degree of skin flap swelling, foot and ankle function were observed. Results All the patients successfully completed the operation, the perforator positioning coincidence rate was 90.00%,and the flap survival rate was 96.67%.The operation time, flap harvesting time, and total operation cost were(145.36±10.78)min,(42.68±3.52)min,and(1.49±0.35)thousand yuan, respectively. At 6 months after operation, the excellent and good rate of clinical efficacy was 96.67%,and the foot and ankle function score was significantly better than that before operation(P<0.05).Conclusion CDU-guided repair with perforator flaps from the lower leg is effective in the treatment of foot and peri-ankle refractory wounds, and the survival rate of flaps is high.Besides, the treatment method can well restore foot and ankle function.
