Clinical Observation of Single-port Inflated Laparoscopic Subcutaneous Mastectomy with Non-liposuction for Gynecomastia
Objective To investigate the technique and feasibility of non-liposuction single-port endoscopic surgery in the treatment of gynecomastia.Methods The clinical data of 21 cases of gynecomastia(including 10 cases of unilateral breast development and 11 cases of bilateral breast development,a total of 32 cases)treated in the author's hospital from January 2018 to April 2021 were analyzed retrospectively.All of them underwent trans-axillary single-port endoscopic subcutaneous mastectomy without liposuction.Results All patients successfully completed the operation.Post operative complications included 1 case of subcutaneous hydrops,1 case of skin necrosis around the endoscopic operation hole and 1 case of subcutaneous emphysema of chest wall.No complications such as nipple areola necrosis,flap necrosis and hematomas occurred.The bilateral chest walls of all patients were basically symmetrical,the nipple shape was normal,and there was no recurrence.All patients were satisfied with the postoperative aesthetic results.Conclusion Non-liposuction single-port endoscopic subcutaneous mastectomy is safe and effective,and has a good cosmetic effect.
