Effect of Modified Wuwei Xiaodu Decoction Combined with Facial Rolling Needle in Treating Post-acne Chromatosis of Stasis-heat Binding Syndrome
Objective To study the clinical efficacy of modified Wuwei Xiaodu Decoction combined with facial rolling needle in post-acne chromatosis of stasis-heat binding syndrome.Methods One hundred patients with post-acne chromatosis who were admitted to Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Shijiazhuang from May 2022 to May 2023 were selected as the study subjects.They were randomly divided into the control group(n=50)and the observation group(n=50).The control group was given facial rolling needle therapy.On this basis,the observation group was treated with modified Wuwei Xiaodu Decoction.Clinical efficacy,lesion condition,condition of chromatosis and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total clinical effective rates in the observation group and the control group were 92.00%and 76.00%,with a statistically significant difference between the groups(P＜0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the condition of skin injury between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05).After treatment,the scores for color,number and size of skin lesions decreased.Above scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P＜0.05).No adverse reactions were observed in either group.Follow-up found that the total satisfaction rate in the observation group(90.00%)was significantly higher than that in the control group(72.00%)(P＜0.05).Conclusion Modified Wuwei Xiaodu Decoction combined with facial rolling needle therapy is effective in the treatment of post-acne chromatosis of stasis-heat binding syndrome.The combined treatment can improve patient satisfaction,and has a good safety profile.
