Application of Multi-family Participation Program in Out-of-hospital Continuous Nursing of Patients with Breast Cancer Undergoing Breast Reconstruction
Objective To observe the application effects of multi-family participation program in the out-of-hospital continuous nursing of patients with breast reconstruction. Methods Taking the implementation of out-of-hospital continuous nursing intervention model based on multi-family participation program in September 2020 as the dividing line,40 patients with breast reconstruction who received routine out-of-hospital continuous nursing from February 2019 to August 2020 were classified as control group, and another 40 patients with breast reconstruction who underwent out-of-hospital continuous nursing based on multi-family participation program between September 2020 and February 2022 were enrolled as observation group. The cognitive bias,body-image,hope level, quality of life and aesthetic effect satisfaction were compared between the two groups before and after intervention. Results After intervention, the scores of cognitive bias(impact on quality of life, evaluation of others, perceived cognitive impairment and cognitive ability)of the two groups were reduced compared with those before intervention(P<0.05),and the scores of dimensions in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of body-image(body shame, disease susceptibility, physical concern, functional limitation, affected arm concern and fluoroscopy)in the two groups were decreased compared to before intervention(P<0.05),and the scores in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group(P<0.05).The scores of dimensions of hope level(positive attitudes towards future and reality, maintaining close relationships with others, taking positive actions)were enhanced in both groups after intervention than those before intervention(P<0.05),and the above scores in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the quality of life scores(psychological state, physical state, sexual health, prosthesis satisfaction, breast satisfaction, surgery and information satisfaction, medical team satisfaction)in the two groups were higher than those before intervention(P<0.05),and the observation group had significantly higher scores than the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total satisfaction rate of aesthetic effect between the two groups(P>0.05),but the satisfaction rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of multi-family participation program in out-of-hospital continuous nursing of patients with breast reconstruction can effectively improve the psychological state and enhance the quality of life.
