Research on Oral Muscle Function and Its Training Application Status
It is the basic law of biology that shape and function influence and restrict each other.The normal development of craniofacial morphology depends on the normal physiological function of oral and facial muscles,and abnormal oral and facial muscle function is one of the causes of dentognathic deformity.Correction of abnormal muscle function is the etiological treatment of malocclusion and the important content of orthodontic treatment,that is also important to maintain the stability of the effect after orthodontic treatment.This article reviews the relationship between oral muscle dysfunction and Malocclusion,the research and application of oral muscle function training.
