Observation of Efficacy of Self-made Simple VSD Device Combined with MDT Mode in the Treatment of Refractory Wounds
Objective To observe the effect of self-made simple Vacuum sealing drainage(VSD)device combined with Multi-disciplinary team(MDT)in the treatment of refractory wounds.Methods Sixty patients with various refractory wounds admitted to the author's department from January 2020 to May 2022 were selected and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group according to the order of treatment time,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with routine debridement and dressing change,and the observation group was treated with self-made simple VSD device combined with MDT mode after debridement.The frequency of wound dressing change,wound area before and after treatment,healing time,pain score,and effective rate of treatment were compared between the two groups.Results After 30 days of treatment,the wound area in the observation group was smaller than that in the control group(P＜0.05).During treatment,the cost of dressing change in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The wound healing time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group(P＜0.05).After 2 and 4 weeks of treatment,the pain scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P＜0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Simple self-made VSD combined with MDT is effective in wound treatment,which can reduce the frequency of dressing change,promote wound healing and reduce medical costs.
